World Wide Home School
Here at World Wide Home School, we believe that close relationships are key to effective education as well as for strong character and success. Our community includes students, instructors, administrators and parents and we make every effort to build strong, encouraging and effective relationships with everyone in it.
Our online technology platform has been designed specifically to give us the tools we need to achieve this goal, with live multi-media classrooms and auditoriums, virtual world spaces and more, all in a safe and secure environment.
In addition, we often invite others into our community through special live events, such as author's nights where students (and parents) have the opportunity to hear and interact with authors of interest to our community. Artists, musicians, public figures, college professors, college recruiters and many others are also invited to meet and speak with us.
We encourage communication and interaction with everyone in our community. Our parents have their own access for communication with their child's instructors and with our administrative staff. We encourage regular meetings with instructors, mentors and other staff. As you know, students with involved parents are far more likely to succeed than otherwise and we are committed to including our parents in the educational process. Our role is to help parents and students identify and achieve their goals.
Through our opt-in community directory, our parents can communicate through our internal mail system with other parents if they choose. We have social meetings and clubs for parents to join, support groups, virtual cafes, parent courses and many other ways for our parents to build their own relationships within our community and, again, all within our safe and secure online environment.
Through these tools and features, and with pro active outreach by our staff, World Wide Home School enjoys community relationships unlike other home school programs.
